What happens after you press Next

Three steps. Only the last one asks you to decide anything.

  1. First

    You fill in the basics

The amount you want, how you get paid and where to reach you. Most people finish on a phone in a few minutes.

  2. Next

    Lenders read it

We pass the request to lenders in our network. Each one looks at it on its own and decides whether to make an offer.

  3. Last

    You read the offer

If a lender replies, it lists the APR, the total cost and every due date. Sign only if those numbers work for you.

Early questions

What people ask us first

Does FinanceLark lend the money?

No. FinanceLark is a referral service, not a lender. We forward your request, and any loan offer comes from a lender on that lender's own terms.

What amount can I ask for?

Any amount from $100 to $5,000. The lender decides what to offer, and it may be less than you asked for.

Do lenders look at my credit?

They may. A lender can check your credit and verify your details as part of its review, and it explains how before you agree.

When would the money land?

It depends on the lender and your bank. If approved, some lenders deposit as soon as the next business day. The offer states the timing.

Is there a fee to send a request?

No. Sending the form is free, and you are under no obligation to accept any offer you receive.

Read the small print first

Every offer has to spell out five things

The lender sets the numbers. They sit in the agreement before you sign.

APRInterest and fees shown as a yearly rate. Short-term loans are costly, and the APR can go above 200%.
Finance chargeWhat the loan costs you in dollars, on top of the amount you borrow.
Due datesWhen each payment comes out of your account and how large it is.
Late or bounced paymentsWhat happens if a payment is missed or returned, and the fee for it.
ExtensionsWhether the lender allows a rollover, and the price of one.

FinanceLark has no say over rates or fees. They differ from lender to lender and from state to state. Borrow an amount you can pay back on the dates shown.
